Whoa, it's been a while since such elegant beauty was done with a charcoal to my audience... I've forgotten what one can do with something as simple (and of course difficult) as a stroke of a tone. And as at first you can't take your eyes off her face, it comes as quite a tease to notice she's wearing her skimpy dress off shoulder :) So well done.. :))

I've drawn my whole life, gone to art college, studied the famous artists through history to the lesser known, seening thousands of artists through my time. But this, this is the single most beautiful and inspirational charcoal image I've seen in my life, that is not an exaggeration. You've impressed me more than the old masters themself.
Words cannot describe.

Nicely done Nathan, you're the master of charcoal portraits in my opinion. All of your work is exciting and a pleasure to look at.

Gorgeous...and would REALLY like to know how you obtain the large brush-like strokes surrounding the model.

It is the elegance of the stroke, not the woman, which engages me as an artist. Would have loved to watch as you drew this one.
