The legend of Puss in Boots! Photoshop painting.
I think the movie is fantastic but of course I'm biased. Go see for yourself!

I loved it! If this counts as a "Shrek" movie it's by far my favorite Shrek movie. Beautiful visuals, moving story, out-of-the-box editing and genre homage, and no short-lifespan topical humor. I was so happy that by the end of the movie there had been no keyboard cat references, despite multiple music-at-the-saloon moments where someone could have crammed it in.

Gorgeous across the board. Whoever did Humpty Dumpty's gold spandex suit shader should pat themselves on the back.

First shrek movie i'm interested into. Does it feature painted backgrounds made directly by you, nathan?

Great work, Nathan.

Thanks guys!

Yes Oscar, our shading guys are impressive, I'm actually kind of shocked at how well these things come together after years of craziness.
And luca, I didn't do any matte paintings that appear in the show. I am proud to have scenes I painted closely recreated in the digital set for the show.

I was disappointed in the Shrek series after #1 and was reluctant to see this. Great stuff, your work was the reason I went out, I was thoroughly impressed. Would pay to see it again. Great story, humour and visuals. I have been recommending it around work.

I'm always amazed at how well you render these images in Photoshop to look like CG animation.

I loved Puss-in-boots and was really impressed by the quality of the humor and the solid story. It's definitely one of the few films I'm going to watch a few times, purchase, then watch more. Great work as always!
